The Sounds of Santa Monica: A Free 2-Day Cabin Creek Music Fest!

Join us on the Santa Monica streets outside of Cabin Creek Crystals for a free musical celebration of diverse and talented artists! 

In four different live segments as a part of Santa Monica's Main Street event, the festivities begin right outside the shop: On August 12th at 1:00 PM, we'll enjoy live music from Mocha Chai! Next up on August 13th, we'll be hosting a handful of more favorites: At 1:00 PM, beginning with Ben Vaughn and Rachel Goodrich; we'll then have Drew Stiles and Captain Danger to follow. This is a free event for all to enjoy! 

From 1-3 PM, we're welcoming Ben Vaughn and Rachel Goodrich! Ben is a folk-rock singer-songwriter, record producer, composer, and radio host. Joined alongside him will be Rachel Goodrich, who weaves an eclectic blend of vaudeville-inspired indie pop, sing-jazz, and country folk.

From 3-5 PM, we're excited to be joined by Drew Stiles, whose music has been featured in over 20 films and televison shows. His song, 'King,' was also featured in a national Panasonic commercial! His new music is uplifting, fun; and central to healing, awakening, and enlightenment. 

Last (but certainly not least!), we have Captain Danger from 5-7 PM! Serving up "a perfect blend of pop, rock, and funk with killer vocals and musicality," Captain Danger's "immediately likable" songs have shades of Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Sly Stone, The Meters and The Police with a modern twist.
