Sara Milonovich with Greg Anderson

New York singer/songwriter & fiddle player Sara Milonovich makes a rare LA appearance at the intimate Cabin Creek Concerts in Santa Monica.

A rising star in the Americana, alt-country, and roots-folk/rock and worlds, Sara has released three albums with her band Daisycutter, has worked with everyone from The Gibson Brothers to Pete Seeger, and was a featured player in the hit Broadway show ‘Come From Away’. Her songs have won the ‘Golden Pic’ songwriter award from Nashville’s acclaimed Bluebird Cafe, her band has won ‘Americana Artist of the Year’ at NY’s prestigious Eddies Awards, and over the years she’s won countless awards for her fiddling. She’s been described as a ‘female Jason Isbell, but slinging a fiddle instead of a guitar.’

Touring with her long-time guitarist & bandmate Greg Anderson, she delivers “a heady harvest of heart-stopping original roots, folk, and alt-Americana gems. Her latest album, Northeast, is packed with atmospheric, powerful pieces, most written by Milonovich, with words that paint poignant, personal scenes, and melodies that linger long after the last listen.” (Peter Aaron, Chronogram).
