About the event

GREAT WILLOW (James Combs, Erin Hawkins), AMILIA K SPICER, and MIKE RANDLE (Baby Lemonade/Love-Revisted) share the beautiful Cabin Creek Concerts stage for a special evening of song sharing in the round.

ABOUT MIKE RANDLE Guitarist, singer, masterful songwriter and longtime co-leader of the beloved Santa Monica psychedelic pop band Baby Lemonade, MIKE RANDLE is also a keeper of the flame for the late, great Arthur Lee's legendary sixties band Love. As Love Revisited, Mike, Rusty Squeezebox and company bring to life the songs they played with Arthur during the final incarnation of the band on stages throughout the US and Europe. Mike makes a truly special and rare appearance on acoustic guitar at Cabin Creek Concerts on May 2 - a phenomenon that he promises won't appear again until 2026, when he unveils a super secret new project. Catch him while you can!

ABOUT AMILIA K SPICER “A seriously gifted songwriter ... A timeless brand-new Americana classic” – American Songwriter Magazine

It may be her haunting, husky voice that first grabs a listener, the way it glides over melodies like smoke, but it’s the songwriting that Spicer really wants you to hear. Her songs have a grit- even when they ache. Wanderlust spills, influenced by Texas Troubadors, Tibetan mountain tops, and Hollywood bars. The dichotomy of shadow and light, small town wonder with a keen edge, are in the sonics. Or, as she might say with a slight drawl: “Water, wine and whiskey”.

Spicer was celebrated by the Los Angeles Music Awards, named “Best Americana Artist”, and has performed at venues and festivals all over the country, including the Kerrville Folk Festival, WoodyFest, 30A, Americanafest, and the Kennedy Center. Also a filmmaker, producer, and photographer, her songs have been featured on NPR’s “Now Hear This”, and videos lauded by AXS: ““Mesmerizing… A testament to the notion that DIY methods can produce some extraordinary results.”

Her most recent album, Wow and Flutter, has made many critics’ best-of lists, and was lauded as “one of the best albums, any genre, in the last decade” by Popdose Magazine.

James Combs and Erin Shawn Hawkins are the heart of Great Willow. With an affinity for the Laurel Canyon sound of yesteryear and a forward looking perspective, the LA band has captured the attention of Americana fans and radio everywhere. Their ambitious and critically acclaimed debut album “Find Yourself In Los Angeles” was called “an incredible addition to any Americana library” by Americana bible NO DEPRESSION and “the new sound of the West Coast” by Americana UK.

“The perfectly combined voices of James Combs and Erin Hawkins is the stuff legends are made of…" NO DEPRESSION

(Great Willow’s collaborative single with I See Hawks In LA) “Radio Keeps Me On The Ground” is soothing nerve tonic for those unsettled by the viral plague currently re-writing human reality. With an irresistable melody and close harmonies, the song is a powerful dose of communal hippie optimism that couldn’t be more welcome during one fuck of a hellish bummer. Michael Simmons, MOJO, LA Weekly

"Love James Combs. He's one of those singer/songwriter/musicians who should have spent his entire career at the top of the charts." PENELOPE SPHEERIS, Direct

or, The Decline of Western Civilization, Wayne's World
