Shaky Feelin’ is a rising powerhouse quintet based in Ventura, CA. A high energy band mixing the elements of rock, reggae, bluegrass, funky and live experimentation. They draw inspiration from bands like Phish, the Grateful Dead, Sublime, The Disco Biscuits, and The Beatles, then deliver an evening of music that can only be described as the Shaky Feelin’ sound. The group consists of Mark Masson (guitar & vocals), Jeff Hiller (bass guitar), Paul Menchaca (drums & vocals), Cameron Probe (drums & percussion) and Franklin Murphy (keys & vocals). The creativity of the band allows for amazing song writing with a “let’s never play it the same way twice” attitude. With no fear of improvisational experimentation on stage, true communication, and strong musicianship this band has the ability to create powerful music that leaves a lasting impression. Shaky Feelin’ shows are a positive high-energy journey that quickly gets people to their feet, and leaves everyone filled with music, joy, and that… Shaky Feelin’!

Chris Murphy is a musician with a distinct talent, his ability to nurture and maintain a multitude of musical identities that includes being a singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and producer. Even more daunting is his chameleon-like music persona that embodies a wide range of musical styles and influences from jazz, blues, country, classical, ethnic and electronic, resulting in a distinct original and powerful voice. He is that rare breed of musician that creates and performs in a wide range of musical worlds with ease.

Doors open at 6:30pm & the show is from 7-9:30pm. Complimentary wine & seating provided at all shows. $10 suggested donation. In any event there is inclement weather the show will be held inside our store.
